Professional development

Our commitment to the highest quality research ensures that our teaching and our professional learning and development services are informed by the most current research and evidence from practice.

The Summit Advantage

Our much-awaited professional development programme for primary or remedial teachers, literacy specialists and SENCos.

Students with diverse learning profiles including dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, twice-exceptionalities and  ADHD present challenges for today’s busy educators. One size certainly does not fit all, and traditional whole language and deficit-based approaches can overlook or mask individual students’ cognitive skills.

Bring out the best in the pupils you teach. Your students are bright and unique, they possess untapped potential and have gifts and talents that may someday change the world.

This course provides evidence-based supporting workbooks, games and materials that can be used in the classroom.

You will also study how to modify negative learning behaviours, such as impulsivity, volume, acting out, and withdrawal through sound and positive social and emotional skills.
